I'm currently looking at http://xmlgraphics.apache.org/fop/compliance.html to determine if I should switch from 0.95 (which works fine, but lacks a few features that I would appreciate having) to trunk. However, this page makes it appear that development on fop has essentially ground to a halt: there are only a handful of changes since 0.95. Looking at the FAQ gives the same impression: the release date for 1.0 is still listed as "somewhere in 2007 or early 2008". This clashes somewhat with the content of this mailing list; reading through the archives I get the feeling that many people are using the (or a) trunk version for various purposes.
My question is this: am I simply looking in the wrong spot? Where should I look for a list of features currently supported in trunk? Is there any idea of when there might be a new release? Are there plans to update the FAQ and compliance pages? I've been following (and using) FOP since 0.20.5, and I greatly appreciate the work done by the various contributors. However, this lack of visible progress can sometimes be a little disheartening... Thanks, H.
