The examples/fo/basic/images.fo example works well if you add -noprint
to fop. That is:
cd examples/fo/basic
fop -noprint -fo images.fo -pdf images-noprint.pdf
The end result shows the images and has Print disabled. So I don't think
it is a FOP issue....
