Yep, the same is true for me: the "Real Tabs" behaviour seems a bit buggy. If you press ENTER at the end of a line, the next line is indented correctly with Tabs. So far so good. But if you then press TAB to indent this new line a little further, the moment you start typing this new tab is filled up with blank spaces :-/
