Re: "Switch off []Save desktop in Program setings / Files" This does not get rid of the File List pop up for me. I can doc the Files List against the right edge of the main window and it stays there.
It would be really really REALLY nice to get rid of this window, IMHO. If the user puts the window away or resizes it to zero width when docked, the program should remember this setting. (I would prefer.) Another good solution would be to have a check box somewhere in the preferences to Show/Hide the Files List. The reason this is an annoyance is that it takes up space on crowded desktops by making the main window wider than it needs to be when docked. When undocked, it pops up on top of the main window every time the program starts which is really beyond annoying. Thanks for this wonderful program!
