Donny Bahama: -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Obviously you've never worked for a software company (or if you have, you've been outside the process in which releases are spec'd, defined and developed.) Features are not implemented at random. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
LOL. Obviously you did not do your homework. I build software companies. :-P Let's be reasonable here and consider common knowledge; the overwhelming majority of features in any modern application go largely unused by most users. I made no suggestion of random feature implementation, nor did I assert that code folding was useless. I merely stated that I believe it is not an "absolute necessity." Frankly, if you are so dependent on it, use a "better" editor. Donny Bahama: -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- The complexity of my code is irrelevant. Any userfuncs.php (containing multiple functions to be included in/called by another page) makes for a sufficient example. Why scroll down to the eighth or 10th or 40th function on a page when it's the only one you're working with? Fold up all the others and your job becomes much easier. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Irrelevant? Interesting.
