Yes most ideas do come from customer feedback. Doesn't mean they are good or even intelligent ideas. I mean lets be honest, most customers don't have a clue about this side of things which is why they pay us. It's like the site I am currently overhauling for one of my clients. He basically sent me a list saying get rid of this, this and this and I want this this this and oh I saw this on a competitors site so I want that as well. He wasn't to happy when I told him how much it was going to cost him, specially after he said he wanted a customer database added and the ability or people to book services online.
Anyway I digress. Jan has stated many times that something like code folding is down to the editor component he uses and not himself. When the editor component adds code folding then PSPad will have code folding. As to the other questions. 1 - I believe Jan has stated that it is not saved at present but will be soon. I mean the only tab I need is FTP. 2 - Dunno 3 - Yes the FTP does need overhauling.
