If you refer to phReplace
http://www.phdesign.com.au/document.php?page=software_phreplace, it
should be able to replace newlines as well as replace *with* newlines
(which is also possible via RE backward replace in PSPad).
To replace newlines in phreplace, you can either simply use the newline inserted
in the multiline input field or you can use the RE mode and replace _
_
with the needed text.
To replace with a newline, only the actual linebreak in the replace field will
do, as far as I know.
