pspad: -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Replace in open files = Search replace in files with Open files option --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
wow. That even has option to replace in files in Selected folder. Crimson Editor is not having that. thanks. however, there are no Regular Expression buttons at the right end of the find/ replace boxes, nor any tickbox for that. So, I assume that regular expression wouldn't be possible. That curtails its usage to a major extent. Regular expressions are power. -- Currently, Replace is not having a Find next option, so we can't check whether what we entered is finding the correct word, nor is there a replace once/ replace all. Seems entire Search/ Find/ Replace concept needs to be given a rethought to have easier usable, easier understandable options, like MS Word give Find in one tab of the window that opens while replace in another tab and one can switch at will. And replace in all files can also be just a checkbox option of existing replace window, just like crimson. maybe find in all files in a selected folder can also be added as you are already having code existing for finding for replacing, and that would be a great alternative for window's stupid search in explorer, and even much better than Examine32 which doesn't have unicode, nor have proper select options of found text, and that is a nagware.
