vbr: -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Hi, from some of your posts regarding search and replace functions I guess, that you might be interested in an addon script for PSPad called phReplace. see http://forum.pspad.com/read.php?2,34061 --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
vsrawat: -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- thanks for the pointer. I have downloaded and installed that. It is indeed giving Replace (once) and Replace All options. Shall write further after trying it out on some of my files. Thanks again. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- phReplace's Regular Expression option is not working. I had </li><li> and I gave </li>\n<li> to split lines, but it didn't split lines and rather added \ and n at that place. If that was not part of regular expression, whatever options basic PSPad engine is providing should function the same way. Also, I think I had noticed that the entries in Find/ Replace, Replace in Files and this phReplace remain separately saved. I changed Find/ Replace string in one and I had probably noticed that that string didn't get transferred to other of the above options. As these are basically addressing the same issue, I think they all should use one common list of Find/ Replace strings. Thanks. -- <http://forum.pspad.com/read.php?2,47868,47914> PSPad freeware editor http://www.pspad.com
