Hi, I'm sorry, I probably won't be able to help much, as I can't even display Chinese in PSPad (not having the appropriate monospaced font and using another system locale). Maybe you could send the files with the description at the support adress of the developer of PSPad (e-mail in the program about-dialog). However, I find it quite strange, that you get at least some (other) Chinese characters with the distorted utf-8 encoding - I'd expect an explicit error or similar.
