How about ATA command overlap. Anybody actually using that much?

Curiously yours in breathtaking ignorance, Pat LaVarre

When I was at Tecmar/Overland Data developing ATAPI tape drives, we
found
     no
OS or application that used command overlap.

     (Your mileage may vary!!!)

     Thanx !!!

     Hi All,
Are there operating systems/drivers actually using command overlap for
ATAPI devices, and more specifically for ATAPI tape devices?

If so, which ones and from off which versions?

     Thanks in advance
             John Sherry (OnStream Data BV)
