Dear T13 Reflector Member: It has come to my attention that the table describing the commands that may be performed when a drive is locked by the security system includes the Download Microcode command. I think that this is an error as the last thing you want someone to be able to do with a locked drive is stuff in new microcode. I don't know how widely the Download Microcode command is implemented or how existing drives behave in this respect but I would like at a minimum to allow a drive to abort the Download Microcode when it is locked.
