Title: Re: [t13] ATA-8 APT Teleconference
There are a significant number of drives (PATA and SATA) that implement the ATA form of command queuing. Maybe in ATA-9, but ATA-8 is too early to obsolete it. (IMO)

I would hope that old ATA queuing feature would be removed.  It adds too
much complexity to an implementation, unless the host controller
provides some assistance.  Even with "smart" host controllers, error
handling is still complex.

I call it "legacy TCQ", and don't bother to implement it in Linux.
