Hallo Dwight
yes I have these Problem too.
sins I am a Newby in Protel I though it is an user-problem. Now I see it
is not.
And there is one more thing that drives me crazy on Protels Layer
handling, the Multi Layer. Because I am doing some Multilayerlayouts
with interstitial (stagered) vias one of these days, I have the Problem
to turn the Multi layer on an see al vias, even if they are not on my
aktual Layer, or turn him off an see non.
Comming up from an old PCAD version that offered a lot off Layers for
each via (and I hatet to create them) I was used to see only the Layers
I was routing on. The Multi Layer pads and vias are wonderfull to create
and handle but sometimes realy impractical. Why cant Protel handle
these thing more like the gerberdata, means show an Multilayer-Pad even
in Toplayer if Multilayer is turned off _but_ Top-Layer turned on?
