Greetings to all,
I am laying out a board that will connect to a generic daughter
board. The connection between them is through a Board to Board
(header/socket) connector plus aligned holes for mounting.
I have the physical (component populated) daughter board,
I am trying to measure the different distances and coordinates
using a digital calliper.
However, the 1st prototype had some misalignment although I
was carefull in taking the measurement.
My question is-
Is there a preciese way of taking the coordinates of the connectors
and holes on the physical daughter board?
I thought of taking a digital picture of the board export it to a CAD
or Drawing software and do the measurments there. Is this the way to go?
Thanks
Mamdouh Wahab
