Both arguments hold water to some extent (ie: Which should be easier to
follow - the schematic or the PCB). However, in my experience re-annotating
the PCB is the route to go. It is easier for the SMT operator to follow
during assembly (no schematic is involved in this process), the repair techs
seem to prefer it when working on the PCBs, and it is INFINITELY easier when
I've got some irate guy on the phone from the field, and I have to tell him
that "changing R30 from 1k to 10k" will solve his problem!!!
