My brother is studying in class three. In home, i have installed GNU/Linux
for him to use and have fun. He is now comfortable with the desktop.
I was so touched last week. He came to me and said he need "paintbrush of
Windows" in Linux. I showed him its alternative but still could not convince
him Coz in school, he is made to do in windows.

If this is the trend of teaching windows applications and window itself from
class 3 onwards. Until he is college student he will be too much into
windows. It will be nearly impossible to make them migrate to FOSS.

I think we must start a campaign/organize a workshop focusing on primary
schools. Campaign will cost much of our time which we may not manage. But
One or two days of workshop for the school administrations and computer
teachers(at initial phase), to aware them of FOSS and Convience them to
implement it, would be great.

shall we do it?
How can we do it?
what can we do?
Can we do it before SFD?
