Hello Bibek, I have quite conversant about FOSS Nepal as I have been a member of it previously also.
You might want to tell me that it only discusses about open software and the problems related to Linux based operating system. But last time when I was member of this group, I use to get help for any of my computer problem because I think most of the members of this group are computer engineer or the persons related to computer science. So, they can adroitly solve my problem irrespective of what operating system I am using. So, now tell me whether you are going to help me or not. thank you, rajesh 2008/10/27 Bibek Paudel <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> > > On Mon, Oct 27, 2008 at 12:38 PM, raju <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> wrote: > > Hello friends, > > Hello, > > > I am using Windows XP professional (SP2 version) > > If you don't know what FOSS Nepal is about and what kinds of things > are discussed here, read this: > http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Free_and_open_source_software > > > Now, after formatting my computer and installing everything, what I > > have just encountered is that my computer displays all the drives, > > like floppy drive, and the partitions but it does not show my CD-ROM. > > I don't know if this is specific to the operating system you are > using.
