hello all, So far as I am concerned, I think we should do at least some kind of program on the day itself, informal-formal. This is very important, because if we don't do so, why is that date there then.. its a global program and no matter what there is in Nepal it should not bother SFD.
So we should try and find alternative ways how we are going to manage things this time, may be a change in pattern will help, for example, what we can do is, we make a week somewhere around 2 week before 19 sept and call it "SFD week", then we go in the industries, do some workshops, presentation, etc there.. and then we come back and show sth at the end of the week... it will be fun, but it will definitely need lot of planning and I think people have to step in and help foss-nepal community to manage this. It is really a decision making time, because if we don't decide now, I don't think we will have time to plan well and go and ask sponsors for money. And also it will not make a good impact on our theme. So, a meeting in IRC foss nepal channel is urgent, and important, what about tonight 9 pm? Regards Akash Deep Shakya "OpenAK" B.E.
