Dear all I have been creating a Nepali Translator in .NET in http://nepaliwikipediatranslator.googlecode.com since there wasn't any Google translator for Nepali language. There were couple of other translators such as nlp.ku.edu.np that I knew while I was in Kathmandu University. I wanted to work extensively on it and after several months I got what I wished it to be.
I have kept the code as open source so that anyone could contribute on it or use the application for translation. However I would like to create a non .NET application. Can you please suggest a Rapid application development environment in which I can reuse most of the works from my existing .net code and I will have to worry less on the code and the application would work. This is just for extending the application so people would have options and could use without using .NET such as Linux. I am somewhat aware of mono but I am targeting novice users who would just use the translator without much effort. I can work on any development environment that would work on Ubuntu dapper or Windows 7.
