Sadly the above solution for to disable the Nvidia card by edit /etc/ rc.local did not work for Linux Mint 12 Lisa I use msi whit hybrid graphics and have currently installed Linux Mint 12 I tried it yesterday but had problems when logging in My laptop just hanged
