Dear Prakash Ji, Sushil Ji and other Fossians, Yes, we are planning a SFD program in Pokhara. But unfortunately nothing has been happened yet to be described.
Though, we have enough time to prepare for a day long program. Top of it, we are planning to organizing an event to support StartUp Weekend on the very day. To summarize, the event will be a StartUp Weekend Boot Up Camp and on the other hand we will celebrate Software Freedom Day as well. But unfortunately, the team Start Up Weekend is not responding till date. If they ignore to help us to organize a Start Up Weekend Boot Up Camp, we have an alternate planning as well. The main idea of the program without their support will be a day long program which includes; 1. Free Software Awareness Program (For the first timers) 2. A teleconference with a resource person regarding Free Software and its advantages. 3. On the spot C.V building/Proposal/Report writing training (To empower youths which will continues on our other programs as well.) 4. Free Software Distribution (If possible) 5.
