Dear Shreya,

Great, thanks for sharing the challenges you are going through and tireless
efforts you are taking on to pursue what you value for. My kudos to your
passion and dedication.

We did had FOSS Community in KEC since very early as 2005-2006. Your
college was very active as well and we had few series of LTSP training over
there as well. Your college management is very well aware and supporting
towards FOSS and its various initiatives. However, what we are lacking is a
team effort and a passing on leadership baton to younger batches properly.
A regular kind of meetup and activities would be the one of most useful
approach to make it happen.

FOSS Ka Kura, for November would be good. Please go ahead with the planning
what is best suited for your management, electricity and other stuffs, And
I am sure, we will have some other passionate FOSSians to join you in your
college. I hope you can lead the discussion as what we can present in this
FOSS Ka Kura. Learning from your email, the students at KEC are new to
FOSS, so a very Introductory session will also be very useful. There are
other topics in the Wiki of FKK listed as well.

With kind regards

Hempal Shrestha

With kind regards,
