Contributing code is only one aspect of a FOSS community; the greater
aim, I believe, is to make people aware of FOSS. I mean, when I
started this many of my friends (Computer Engineering students in 2nd
year) asked me what "FOSS" stood for and what it meant and why I had
choose such a funny name. I had to explain to them what FOSS was and
that I did not make that name up. Me contributing code is not going to
change that.

I believe we should meet up. KEC IT Club is quite dead right now, but
it is still featured in the college website and prospectus. It would
be helpful to rebuild something with a history than create something
anew.
