I like shape differentiation. It is kind to my color blind eyes. :)

I'm still newbie enough at this stuff to not have a ton of hard earned
opinions (other than I dislike using git) but I know I've read about
desires for other symbols to indicate different types of commits. Too many
different shapes could be awkward, but I could see at least a couple more
shapes being purposed for other types of things if people wanted (triangle
or diamond).

Or hearts & spades & clubs. Maybe pacman & qbert.

Okay, just triangle & diamond.
