I think you busted my prior check-in http://www.fossil-scm.org/index.html/vinfo/68bfc1d5ccf9 The comment text is no longer preserved if the commit aborts. I didn't actually test this, I'm just looking at the code. But it appears that the comment text is only preserved if the comment is an empty string - not very useful. D.
