So what you are saying Justin is that you think you've found a bug in Fossil. Fine, it will be either explained or fixed. But then you say that there's this other DVCS with a different design philosophy and a different internal structure and when you do what you think are equivalent operations to what you did with Fossil, you don't find an equivalent bug! I'm sorry but that doesn't make any sense at all. It doesn't prove anything, nor does it help anyone to solve your problem.
