yes, it seems like this (if that code was not been touched sometime in the
last 1-2 years). strange thing is, I'm quite sure that
this (unwanted queries for gpg passphrase) did not happen some time ago:
my gpg-stuff is in place for 10+ years
and I'm using fossil for only 1+ years. I _did_ some branching at that
time (around Nov 2012, e.g.) without
getting these queries (I would have noticed them...).
in my work I rather seldom use branching, so I'm not completely sure, when
exactly I started to see this, but I would
guess it is no longer than for a couple of months at most.
this is strange, right? was it a regression after all or are/were there
other code paths creating a branch?
