This code appears to be the same as after it's first
check-in in 2009: The check for the "clearsign"
setting has never been done, so it's not a regression.
I believe you, naturally. I'm only at a loss why, then, once upon a time I
could branch without getting asked for the passphrase. also, I would
expect that someone else would have run into this problem (clearsign off,
but still asked for gpg passphrase) previously, no?
I also understand stephan's mail states that he has never seen this
behaviour despite using gpg?
but anyway, thanks a lot for fixing it.
