You could try $LIBRARY_PATH.

We discussed some of this off-list, so I won't really repeat any of
it, other than to say we're digging into it and found something that
at the very least could be problematic.

I guess I'm just used to using virtual desktops for everything (fire
up the WorkSpaces app, or use Alt-F1 through Alt-F12), and/or using
Haiku's Stack and Tile interface which lets you stack together any
apps, or tile their windows together.  To stack, click/hold a tab,
hold down the Windows key, and drag one tab to another until it turns
red, then release.  Now you can just click between programs.  To tile,
click/hold a tab, hold down the Windows key and drag the window border
of one app into another until it turns red, and then release.  The
whole stack/tile group can be resized as necessary.

In any case, the system takes getting used to if you're not familiar
with it.  It's kind of second nature to me though.  :)
