Yes, Dan. The 12.10 packages will be created today, I will update the status

I think Vincent was working on creating packages for Ubuntu 12.10. (See
http://www.fossology.org/issues/3663)

Vincent C do you expect to have those VMs & packages created soon?

If not you may be able to use the 12.04 packages, but I have not tested this.

I am studying about the tool FOSSology. I have so many queries(related to its
installation) which I want to get clarified,
 1. Is it possible to install FOSSology in windows XP? If so, please tell
me the steps from the base to install it(Also share the link to download it
exe’s).
There is no Windows port of FOSSology.

2. I have tried to install it in Ubuntu 12.10 version(Quantal flavor). I
could see so many deb files to be installed. But I don’t know which one I have
to start install first.
Installation instructions are at
http://www.fossology.org/projects/fossology/wiki/Install_2_1
Though I see it hasn't been updated for Ubuntu 12.10, the instructions should
be similar.

3. It is asking for so many dependencies. Could please tell me the order
of installing this software because I need to install Apache, Postgresql and
PHP. When I try install this, it is also asking for so many dependency of some
library files. It keeps on asking for many dependencies.
4. I am not able to get succeeded in installing this software.
5. Finally I am changing the Ubuntu version(Ubuntu 10.04 Lucid). I hope
it should work as I am in hurry to complete my installation by Sunday. Please
help me out in this
See the above URL. You should be able to:

  sudo apt-get install fossology

and have the dependencies taken care of for you.

I haven't installed FOSSology from scratch in quite a while. Hopefully,
someone on this list can give you better instructions.
