If you are an experienced kernel-hacker you are welcome to contribute. otherwise and please do not take this the wrong way, get the ldd3 book if you are interested and start working through it, read the kernel sources and then find a nice project to get started on. the whole kernel thing is not really something you can be thought, it is more a matter of investing time to learn how it works, the net is full of docs on it John
