Hi Raph,

I wouldn't do that. There is the risk to not be able to restart the
board again since it depends from the startup state of the OG25 pin. If
it starts at low state you will not be able to start Linux again.

If you want to try, connect only J7.13 to J13.1 (the pin nearer to the
white J2 header) through a 330 Ohm resistor.

If the board starts properly try the command:
setbits -p g -b 25 -s 0

The board should restart.

If the board does not start at all after the connection or it
continuously restarts you have to choose a pin that is a input by
default like PA0. Then during normal working if you turn this pin as
output as put it at low state you should reach your goal.

Attention: This procedure can cause permanent damage to the board if not
done properly so it has to be carried out at your own risk.

My suggestion is to restart the board with the "reboot" command. There
is no reason why the command "reboot" should not work. Infact if the
board locks up, it will not execute even the setbits command so there
are no reasons to realize the connection between J7.13 and J13.1.

Otherwise please let me know why you need a hard reset.

Best regards,

Roberto Asquini
