Steve,
Re: ODBC and Informix and the legacy historian
AIM*Datalink can do that through either the old historian or AIM*. You can
get Datalink and Explorer and have a good time with Excel and
live/historical trends. There is a package price for the two of them.
Re: ODBC and Informix
Several paper companies have Informix setup to support ODBC as part of the
work our Pulp and Paper folks do.
However, be aware that Informix holds only reduction data and this might not
be what you want.
Hope this helps.

Subject: ODBC and Legacy Historian
Hi,
Is anyone using third-party ODBC drivers with the legacy historian
(Informix) database?
We are looking for a way to extract data into Excel and other ODBC
PC
applications.
Thanks,
Steve Murray
