If the error bit is set in MEASMD you should get the green background
at setpoint (I think).  And you would have no effect on control if
CEOPT is 0 or 1.  I would try checking the status info in BLKSTA,
ALMSTA and ALSTAT.  I usually check INHSTA at the same time
just for the heck of it.  I don't know an easy way to check these
from in system, so I usually just use omget to fetch the values at
the command line.  Good luck, after that is about where I call Foxboro.

The parameter is the setpoint.  Another thing which is kind of odd 
is the the block shows local mode on the select page, but responds to
changes in the remote setpoint as if it were in remote mode.  REMSW
is set to 1 but it still doesn't go into remote.  Thanks for the help.
