Re: Not a fatal error: Station xxx is not found

This message is printed for each control station configured, but not present
in you system. You can eliminate the message by creating a file called
/opt/fox/ais/bin/use.dat.

In this file, place the names of all control stations that are present in
your system.

Re: Why does FoxAPI try to start 2 times?

As I said in my previous note, " I'm afraid that I can't give you a reason
for your startup problem."

All I can suggest is that you contact Field Service in Germany or the
Customer Satisfaction Center in the Netherlands.

I can add to that that one of my test machines has the same/similar problem.
It has had this QF installed, but also several other FoxAPI changes (early
4.2.5) so I've always believed its because of the work that I'm doing.

Subject: Re: Question about FoxAPI on AW51 (6.1)

I get the following output (only the tasks):

        an_server.tcp -ian_init.tcp
        an_server.tcp -ian_init.tcp
        /opt/fox/ais/bin/foxapi wrtimr
        /opt/fox/ais/bin/foxapi wrproc
        /opt/fox/ais/bin/foxapi om_poll
        /opt/fox/ais/bin/foxapi wrtimr
        /opt/fox/ais/bin/foxapi wrproc
        /opt/fox/ais/bin/foxapi om_poll
        /opt/fox/ais/bin/histlnbc

Except for histlnbc every task appears two times. foxapi without
arguments
        is not found at all.

After restarting FoxAPI (aisstart) I get what you wrote and my
program
(well, sort of, but this is my problem) works:

        an_server.tcp -ian_init.tcp
        /opt/fox/ais/bin/foxapi wrtimr
        /opt/fox/ais/bin/foxapi wrproc
        /opt/fox/ais/bin/foxapi
        /opt/fox/ais/bin/foxapi om_poll
        /opt/fox/ais/bin/histlnbc

During aisstart I get several "Not a fatal error: Station xxx is not
found"
errors, some of them without a letterbug.

        My /usr/fox/bin/fox_apps.dat looks like this:

        Amisc
        FOXAPI
        AICC6
        ADM
        ADDE6
        ACSA

It is a virgin AW51 w/ 6.1 installed (that's what they told me).
The only
thing I did was to install QF990341 (got that number wrong in my
original
        mail).

Why does FoxAPI try to start 2 times?

        Regards,

        Sascha
