Totally agree Jenny...

My very first workshop, and actually very first contact with any LIVE
face painters, was when I attended a two-day Olivier Zegers workshop
in Calgary several years ago... It cost me about $1200 to attend (air,
hotel, meals, and registration) not including the money I spent on
kit, and it was WORTH EVERY PENNY!!!!

My painting jumped up to a whole new level and learning how to use the
brush was an epiphany! I just had to see it demonstrated right in
front of me to "get it!"

I wish there were painters near me, or even within 3 hours drive...
but, I have to spend money in order to meet up with others once a year
at conferences and conventions. It is so worth it as professional
development... and it is a business write-off!!
