Face and Body Art information is "out there", everywhere. If they don't get
it on this forum, they'll get it somewhere else....maybe under "How to
paint with acrylics" (lol) Better we hash it out and inform them correctly
and share ideas. Not every forum has a profile page available to them to
list their contact info and put pictures of their work., do they? (I am
asking here ;o) But not every member of this google forum HAS to be an
Association member anyway. I might consider that a requirement for the
future, however.

In the meantime, folks can share if they choose or lurk if they choose.
Either way, it's a free forum and a free world. We can all make our
individual choices about answering questions. But please, don't berate
folks for the fact that you don't know who they are or their level of
expertise, when they ask a question. Even though we have all paid for
education, I know I have personally received alot of education for FREE.
Look at Gary's site, all the artwork that folks share freely there as well
as on the forums.

Believe me, I have seen how this market has become glutted with more
forums, more workshops, more conventions, more seminars, more
magazines, more painters, and more products. But, it's all good! In 2002, my
convention was the only face and body art convention offered in the
USA.Since then, thousands of painters ahve come together, become connected
and are now networking. Some have even been able to leave their "day jobs"
to pursue painting full time.. There were no "Masters" known to this face
painting community, there was no Paradise, nor Wolfe Brother paints, (yes,
Snaz was around ;o) "Stars" were born at the conventions through the years.

The pendulum is taking a really big swing, as interest in face and body
art among the "laymen" and artists alike continues to grow. Soon, it will
calm down, equalize and rest in the middle again and life will go on for
the folks that are professional and do this for "a living". And we'll say,
"Hey, where did everybody go?" Enjoy the ride!

Sincerely,
Cynthia Keeler
