I agree with you, Loretta. However, I know that in the years I've been in the entertainment business, a client calls and says " Do you have/or do such and such". I say YES, of course, and then I proceed to learn how to do it myself and add it to my repertoire,or get someone that can do it for me. That's what business folks and artists alike do.When I used to teach clowning/balloon/facepainting after EVERY class people want me to stop training more AFTER their class. done. It is supply and demand. The supply is starting to glut the market. But it will level out sooner or later, I believe. As for you paying for the Association membership,.the bell has finally gone off in my little pea brain. that not EVERYONE signed up all at once for the Assoc (DUH). At one year, I made the site free as I was getting negative feedback about the fee and hassled from some in the industry. They wouldn't give me a second to make the whole Assoc concept work and I felt pressured. So, I made it free, so we could try to grow and become something with no strings attached. I thought, people couldn't complain when it was "free". But, I was wrong.. If some of you signed up during the first year, rather than in the first month, now I am starting to see your point. So, if you paid $49 and you didn't get an Association T-shirt, or you didn't get 10% off to the following year FPBA Convention or you didn't get a 100% free registration for volunteering at the FPBA Convention, I might owe you a refund. I REALLY don't like to owe folks money and definitely would never"stiff" anyone intentionally. Sometimes I feel damned if I do and damned if I don't, here. But, I would want to make this right with the few of you that this might have happened too. Let me know how I can make it up to you, as money has been mentioned several times lately, and I am just now starting to understand this dilemma.
