Well done Elena!  Right over wrong always wins!!!

I'm sure Gary has not heard the other side or the WHOLE story so didn't have
the info to make a sound decision...  I'm also sure that being a very
intelligent and fair man, he will rethink his opinion of Diamond FX, the
distributors, and the information that certain people are spreading for their
own devious reasons!!!  Serves as a good lesson if nothing else!  It sucks
being used as a tool to further their agenda!   YIKES!!!!  What is going
on with the face painting world anyway???  Makes you stop and say hmmmm........

Now let's play nice and get to painting!!!

Subject: [fpba-assn] Re: Diamond / Wolfe

Gary,
My name is Elena Bonifaz. I am the distributor for Diamond FX in the
USA.  In the past I have not answer to many blogs because I believe
that the truth has always an interesting way of arriving.  I met you
in the convention in January and you stroke me as a savvy business
person and someone that would get the two sides of the story before he
reaches a conclusion.  Let me help you by giving you my side of the
story.

1.    A week after my website was up, a person by the name of Luther
Rivera from Tallahassee, FL requested information about the company
and asked if we were FDA approved.  I gave my information including
prices, policies and the fact that we had FDA approved ingredients.
Two days later he posted messages stating the total opposite.  Any
idea who Luther Rivera is?
2.    A staff member for Wolfe FX posts in a “private blog” statements
saying that my company is illegal and we are using their paint to get
ahead and just relabeling their cakes.  Reality – A not-so-smart
European vendor, having a hard time selling Wolfe paint because it is
too expensive tried to get rid of his inventory by passing it for
Diamond FX, a more popular brand.
3.    Another staff member for Wolfe FX sends slandering letters to some
of my vendors telling them that the company is illegal and they will
find themselves unable to sell their inventory if they continue as
vendors.  Once again, he provides no proof for this and immediately
cancels them as vendors for their product.
4.    Wolfe FX company after unsuccessfully tried to prohibit the Wolfe
Brothers to work with other companies, threatens Cynthia Keeler to not
support her in the convention if she accepts me as a seller.
5.    Wolfe FX has better luck bribing Marcela and offer once again a
“platinum sponsorship” of $10,000 with a small favor attached, that
Diamond FX is not accepted as a vendor.  This time the organizer does
not act as ethical as Cynthia and sends me a message telling me I
would “make the vendor room tense”.

Now that you have read some points from my side of the story, I ask
you to make your decision.  Yes, the paint is similar, we have
comparable formulas, the manufacturer may be in the same town for all
I know, but is Diamond FX using Wolfe paints, are we the evil company
trying to copy a “secret formula” or are we simply a new enterprise in
the industry trying to bring a good product at a good price, creating
some healthy competition for the benefit of the face painters?  Is
Wolfe FX mad at us? Of course, as much as McDonalds was mad when
Burger King came by.  But being mad is very different from being
unethical – could it be that Wolfe FX is scare of this challenge
because they are deeply in debt and involved in several law suits due
to bad decisions, poor management and sour relationships with
distributors?  I can’t tell you, I am not in that company, but next
time they say something about my company I ask you to please request
some proof.

Sincerely,
Elena Bonifaz
