My sponges stay wet... my used sponge bucket has water in it before I
start to paint, then I dump my "dirty" water in it when I change it...
the sponges stay soaked. Then, when I get home, I dump out the dirty
water, rinse and squeeze the sponges out a few times, then fill up the
bucket with HOT water and let them soak while I change, relax, eat...
then I go and wash them... with the Ivory bar soap. Any paint still
in the sponges comes out, I rinse until the water is clear, squeeze
hard, and then roll them all in a towel and twist.
