I think it goes unsaid that many people are looking for a way to stretch their dollar these days. When they go to the grocery store, they use coupons or watch for sales. When they shop for clothes, they hit the sale rack first.Not too many people want to pay FULL RETAIL.When they shop for a major purchase, they try to "haggle" the price. I think booking an entertainer, is from the same philosophy, in this economy. YOU may be worth it, but if your price does not fit THEIR budget, it s a moot point.Each person has to do what they can afford to do, to earn a living, to stretch a buck.You need to be flexible. Most folks are making financial sacrifices these days.Sometimes something is better than nothing, tho..........can't take it personally. OUR "cost of doing business" /expenses is the same as always.But, that is true for most businesses. We're all in this together. Everyone has to take a little less right now, until we come out of the "other side" of this financial mess the world seems to be in.
