Yep, looks like all the forecasted "hope and change" turned out to be more government running up the national debt drastically. The economic surge was all spending with no result. The middle class and small business owner is getting killed.
Face painting is one of those markets where face painting in general is more popular than ever. The switch however throws in two new angles. Those that can not afford the professional face painter buy a face painting kit and have Aunt Mary come and do the painting. The other is those that either lost their job or are no longer earning enough opt to join in the professional market adding competition. I know for us we cut back on marketing, like yellow pages, that was not working and over all revenue is down but profitability is up because spending is down. We seem to be holding our own but I do not think Dallas has been hit as hard as the rest of the United States.
