Probably not. It doesn't use optics for imaging, it uses "active 
capacitance" which involves the varied surface of your finger pushing a 
drive ring into a sensor matrix, effectively coupling the flesh on the 
underside of your skin surface with the device, or something like 
that(!). I don't think you will have success scanning anything other 
than a finger.
