Hello, I'm using Ubuntu 8.04 and installed fprint from the backports repository. However there doesnt seem to be the current version in the repo as my UPEK fingerprint reader with usb id 147e:2016, which should be supported by the upeksonly driver, does not work. It still says: Device not found! So i wanted to install a daily snapshot from git. I read the README and INSTALL files but was not able to install it yet, since there seems to be no configure file (it says file not found in terminal). If i enter "./ configure.ac" in terminal it says:
