Dear mailing list. I am currently doing my MS work and it is on centralized biometric auth. I plan to base by work on your project. However, the only scanner I currently have available it upekts-based built-in into my T60. It won't let me get the image and thus won't really allow processing it.
I bought an Microsoft (sic) Fongerprint Reader on eBay, but someone (I suspect this being the russian post) takes far too long to deliver it. I would need the following help. 1) Short API description. I need the following workflow: 1. Get device handle 2. Get device capabilities 3. Get raw image from device 4. Extract minutae 5. Perform BOZORTH comparison 2) Since I don't have an appropriate device yet, would be nice If someone could provide me with a couple of matchng and non-matching prints to test the flow and explain how to inject presaved images into the workflow described above.
