As usually, I did not read the manual carefully. Mea culpa.
Sorry for that.

   - verify function in FingerprintGUI works!
   - fingerprintIdentifier" works and identifies my login name!
   - I do not want to set up PAM (I do not want to use fingerprint for PAM)

I would like to use fprint to identify different people (not users of the
system!!!). To be more specific, I would like to identify the members of our
sport club (to keep an attendance evidence).
I would like to use fprint using Python (or alternatively from the command
line).

Can you please direct me how to use fprint for above mentioned purposes
(pam_fprint_enroll --enroll-finger 2 does not work as mentioned previously)?
