I'm passing on an announcement for Tom's re-election campaign kickoff. If you're reading this, the odds are that you're going to vote in the election. Some people show a righteous indignation at the question of whether they are going to be voting. But, at the expense of triggering such indignation, please be assured that I'm not questioning your own commitment to your civic duty. I'm asking you all to talk to your friends and neighbors and put the pressure on them to make sure that *they* vote. And if they get indignant, then just tell them that with a 6% turnout for the primary, the priority for asking these questions has been naturally escalated.
You all saw the numbers of people who actually turned out. Our civic responsibilities are commensurately increased by those numbers. -- -Time flies like the wind. Fruit flies like a banana.
