Our FrameMaker templates have not been updated in about 8 years and are
starting to get rusty. Since our manuals are ever-growing (many over 1K
pages) and our time is ever-dwindling, I'd like to present to the team a
solution that is as low impact as possible.
I seem to remember some years back a discussion about mapping paragraph
tags from an old template to paragraph tags (with different names,
obviously) in a new template. I just can't remember if this solution
employed scripts or some third-party software.
Any ideas?
I highly recommend the TemplateMapper plug-in by Chris Despopoulos (to the
extent of providing it as part of the course materials in my FrameMaker
Template Design seminar).
