I second John's views, and to some extent Zoe's. Mif2GO is a great tool, and it's priced right. If you want to pay a lot more, you could consider ePublisher. People seem to like it, and XML-based publishing is definitely the way of the future.
WWP 7 Standard Edition is obsolete. Don't waste your time learning it.
